Default Surf Rider

Very tricky to get surfer and kite in shot but do you think this works or is the subject too small...maybee better to zoom into surfer and no kite....

Very nice shot. Nice colours as well. No I don't think that the surfer is too small.

I took a pic of a kite surfer a couple of weeks ago and found the same problem re: getting them both framed in the shot. Just a suggestion, this is what I did and you may or may not like the idea, but I used photoshop and took away part of the section in between the surfer and the kite, so they were a bit closer together but not too close that it looked unrealistic, if you know what I mean.

Sorry, I just realised your question was if the surfer is too small, and no I don't think he is. I think you need both subjects in the picture to tell what is really going on.
