Could you tell me if it was fine to have jus half of the jumper in the frame and place him in the centre? and any other comments are surely welcome

Kind of. If the thing in his hands were not there I think it might work. and less noise as well.
Not sure of the wall either. What I do like is the stuctures in the background. They look like they might hurt! Pretty darn neat idea if you ask me!

Like the idea a lot. I'm big into jump photos on self timers. Maybe try joining in the photo. Give it a personal feel. I think the idea is great but the image itself needs a little work. Unless the motion is intentional but right now it doesn't seem that way. Thanks for sharing.
