It's a nice action shot, but sad to say the frame distracts the viewers eyes away from the picture.MAybe use should slim it down a little.

way too loose. you need to crop for impact.

Hi Moderator,

New to this site and I think I have placed this in the wrong forum - I saw the Sports Action and placed it there when it should have been in "Sharing Your Shots". Have done likewise with a "Cricket Action" shot.

Thanks Jim for your feedback - have been getting carried away with "framing" photos.

I actually prefer it uncropped, but agree about the frame being distracting!

It's a nice shot nevertheless! But being with a newspaper/magazine background, editors always ask, "why don't you crop tighter. Too me, the subject is just too small in the photos surrounded by all that needless expanse of water. So I always crop for impact. When you go onto my website, all my photos are cropped for that reason. I want to keep the viewer's eye from wandering around the photo.
