to me the b&w make it confusing to look at since it looks like the subjects are almost blending into the background

At first I thought you had a very, very large DOF here and so the trees got in it too, but at f3.2 that shouldn't have been a problem, so I'm assuming you were on autofocus and it stuck on the trees. There's way too much going on in the background with the trees in focus for me to focus on the two kids swinging. If you can try it again focus on a bar or something by where the kids will be swinging and then switch into manual - or just manual focus it.
I think if you drop the shutter speed a notch or two as well you'll get a better motion blur. Good luck! |

I like how it is black and white!
I think if anything, it could use a lil cropping. I would crop out the bottom half of the photo, to where the trees and kids are the only thing in the photo

i agree, right now it just looks like the kids are out of focus, where as the bigger blur would show the motion better

When I first glanced at it it looked like 2 kids jumping off the side of a building into some trees. Then after studying it for about 15 seconds I seen the chains.
And looking again, I still don't see a chain in the boys right hand.... Sometimes I wonder if at age 38 is it time for me to take a trip to the optamologist?
