Default Fuerza Bruta: Look up!

I went to the show on Sunday and I found it very hard to take photos in the dark (the flash wasn't allowed). I tried to use their lighting when it was on and I got some cool photos.

1. Do you think I used the right settings for the shot?
2. What do you think about the violet color? I find it dramatic and in the mood with the picture but still need your opinion about it.

Thanks

Some forums - like sports critique - don't get as much traffic as do other forums. So, sometimes it takes a while to get a comment on a photo. Unfortunate, but it happens.

I like your photo very much. It's surreal and different, and reminds me a bit of a Michaelangelo painting (for some reason).

Did you use the right settings? Don't know. On a unique shot like this, it's hard to say what's "right." If you achieved the look you were striving for, then you used the right settings.

For the violet, I like it too. But, it all being on the left makes the shot a bit unbalanced to me. Maybe try cloning in a bit of violet on the right side of the image?

Also, if you'd post the photo itself in your initial post (as opposed to a thumbnail), you might get more of a response. Thumbnails tend to be harder to see, and some people simply won't click on them.

Good work.

It seems very dark. As chip suggested, thumbnails really look terrible in my browser, I mean really terrible - it's hard for me to tell what's going on in any thumbnail.
