Default Shots in the rain

Had a bit of a challenge shooting the lacrosse game this weekend as it was a constant rain.
Did more post-processing than I usually do, but I am not sure if I over did it.
Looking for opinions on the colors, over/under saturated?
Sharpness (needs more?)

EXIF
Exposure:1/640 at f/5.3
Flash:Not fired
Exposure bias:0 EV
Exposure prog.:Aperture priority
ISO speed:ISO 800

For other shots of the same game: http://photos.definingshots.com/lax0503
Thanks in advance
Bill

I think you did a good job. I like the brightness of the reds but I know I tend to go a tad over on adjustments myself.

I think the brightness and colors are all fine. Shooting in the rain poses problems with saturations but I do not see any issues with your photo.

good job with the photo and shooting in the rain. how did you manage that?

Using the plastic bags my newspaper comes in to wrap the lens, then used a kitchen garbage bag to double wrap the rest.
That said, it wasn't a hard rain, but it was constant. I probably wouldn't do it in a down pour without an umbrella.

Here we go...The sport of men. I like this shot. I would try zooming in a bit closer to show the intensity on the lax players face. I had some professional photos of my son playing lacrosse a few years ago in a tournament. He gets pretty physical and i told the photographer that. Some of the close ups of intensity were awesome.
