It's definately a different angle.. I don't know if it's because I'm tired, or if it's the angle, but I'm finding it a little bit difficult to focus on where the rider is going.. In my opinion I think the angle is a bit much, but i probably don't speak for the majority..
The drop itself looks pretty sweet

It's definately a plus that hes framed against the sky. But I have trouble telling what's actually going on. Are you referring to the tilt of the camera or the angle you're shooting from? If you didn't have the tilt I think I would like the angle. Like you said its just a little bit disorienting.

Isn't the person going from left to right? I LOVE this shot. How many bicycles against the sky are there? Not many when compared to the number of bike on the ground shots.
