Question softball 2009

I was just kind of wondering what peoples thoughts were on this group of photos. Composition? How does it look with the three photos together? I only have a 18-55mm lens and a 50mm lens so I was a little far away and had to crop closer in pp. Is the photo too bright? Any critique or comment would be greatly appreciated.

Arrow Just my initial thoughts...

1. Takes me back to my softball playing days...ahhh...how I miss them.
2. The crops are different in all 3 images, so the composition as a whole is kinda thrown off. I think I'd prefer all three be cropped essentially the same distance from the subject.
3. The background is too focused and (especially the woman in the pink) quite distracting. Perhaps you could blur the background a bit creating more depth of field?
4. Her skin seems quite pink to me. Not sure if its the bright sunlight or the processing.

Also, per the critique forum rules, you should post the exif for your images, so we can offer suggestions on how you might improve your settings next time. Also, the image should not be greater than 800 pixels on the longest side.

Did she hit it?!

need to get the ball in the frame. Shoot a hort (landscape) shot next time to try and capture the ball.
