This is my first post for critique so please be gentle.
![]() This shot was taken as part of a series of martial arts portraits taken over the last few weeks. Most of them are pretty standard "school picture" fare but I also tried to get a few more interesting shots. I really liked this one in it's raw form and liked it even more after a bit of solarization in Photoshop. However much I like it something still doesn't feel quite right and I can't put my finger on it. Composition? Lighting? I wanted the processed look so I posted the "finished" version. The link is to the original version. I know it is a bit vague but I would really appreciate any guidance on this shot. Thanks so much. ![]() Original Data: Nikon D80 Nikor 70-300mm @ 300mm f/5.6 ISO 200 1/200s |
