Default Whitewater Kayaking

I like to take action shots that show some drama. In the shot, I spent the data at the National Whitewater Center trying to get some action shots in the water. I like shot because you can see fighting the current to keep control. My question is what would you do to improve the shot? I was thinking of croping some more to get in closer, but I though the water might also add some action.

nice presentation for critique, mexon....

your exposure looks great.....the water has a lot of depth to it and your kayaker's colors are bright.....you are right to think a crop could improve things......crop down to where the helmet is at the upper left intersection of thirds and see how you like it.....
