This is the picture of a moving train from a railway station i took recently.
The exif of the image can be seen on the flickr properties. Was wondering if the picture is overexposed? I took the picture on a very bright afternoon and ended up adjusting the shutter speed at 1/25s so i can capture enough blur. Should i have increased the speed a little more? Any suggestions? Yes the picture is very overexposed and totally blown out at the bottom and top. I would suggest studying the histogram and what that is and means, it will help you a lot in getting images that aren't over or under exposed.
Blown out would be where it is so white that there is absolutely no detail left, and in your photo you can see at the very top and bottom, it's simply just white, it looks like you should be able to see trees and grass, should be green rather than white. Increasing your shutter speed and Aperture would have drastically helped. Also on a bright day, you should make sure your ISO is set to the lowest it can go. |
