Hello everyone,
Here is another one of my kite skiing shots, I had posted another one a few months ago that was more landscape than sports action because of colours and scenery. I have bought a new Sigma 70-300 DG Macro and as i was driving back from work i saw my budies kite skiing so i stoped to take a few shots, it was so cold and windy and i was not dressed up for it ( shoes and light jacket ) that i was literally geting frozen solid so i did not take time to get my settings right and my shots came out too dark. If i tried to get the shot lighter, it was just making it more noizy. After all possibilites considered, i decided to turn it into a BW picture to wich i aded contrast. there was another kite skier in the back that was not in focus so i cloned him out. I would like to know what you think of the conversion and cloning? Does the shot render justice to the sport? ![]() Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 300 mm ISO Speed: 100 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: Off

Thank you for commenting Chip,
I do agree about the croping a litle might help out to get the subject more centered. I am not too shure about cloning out the line, it is the water ( ice and snow ) edge or beach i think if i clone it out i might loose a bit of the context but i may be wrong.
