It really helps to offer critique if the viewer knows where you are coming from. What sort of feedback are you looking for? Perhaps a little background on the image?

well after any comments at all.
the image was taken at a local oval racing event, these guys race at about 40mph and is a non contact sport, i was after a shot to capture the sheer speed of the race and each car travels at
i think maybe to much speed and should of zoomed in on the car a little more so there is a little less background???

Try using the pan method. Shoot at a lower shutter speed and pan the camera in the direction in which the car is traveling. That should show speed. Also, try to get up to a higher angle and shoot down on the car, so to get rid of the distracting background. And try to fill the viewfinder with more car and less background. Maybe shoot at different parts of the track. If you can get into the pit area and shoot guys working on their cars, drivers relaxing, or whatever them seem to do. Hope this helps!

Default blurr of action

When shooting blur of action photos, you are trying to be creative with the blur.
1. Shoot slow shutter speeds to assure a blur (try 1/60, 1/30, 1/15, and 1/10 of a second.
deliberately move or shake the camera during exposure.
You can also shoot blur of action photos in one of three ways.
1. remain stationary and shoot the subject as it passes.
2. move along with the subject as it passes.
3. remain stationary and pan your camera as the subject moves parallel to you.
