Hi there. I took a series of these and this one I want to make into a large poster. I'd really like your help in providing detailed feedback to help me make the shot to be the best it can be. Unfortunately, this was one of the rare times when I shot in jpeg rather than RAW - not my best decision!

Haka

Metadata,
Canon EOS300D, ISO 1600 (dull and overcast in a Winter's mid-afternoon). 400mm wide open f4.5, 1/500 - hand-held.

Thanks folks,
V

I don't know that this will work in a poster size. It doesn't seem focused. Have you sharpened it?

I like the way you composed this photo and it's an excellent perspective, but I agree that you should try to sharpen the photo.

Thanks both. I will do what I can to sharpen it. I liked the composition and angle as it exposes most of the faces allowing the fantastic facial gestures to be seen. The poster may be a bit ambitious for the quality of the shot.

Pretty crazy how much blur there is on a 400mm lens even at 1/500th of a second!
