This was taken at dusk and is number 4 in a series of 7. Probably requires the series to really appreciate the action but would like to know if I have captured the moment for otther to appreciate.

Oh, there are surfers out there... did not see them until I've opened the big picture... and then they are poorly visible... I thought you are trying to freeze the waves...

With your EXIF file i see you are using 150 mm focal so i am assuming you have some kind of Zoom potential, it would have been nice to be able to see the surfer at the verry least.

The subject should be bigger. Unless this was a surfer riding a giant wave, my guess is that either you will need AT LEAST 300mm but probably 600mm or to move in very close to the shore line to take a photo like this
