Default afraid to go :)

I like the emotion in his face, he looks like he afraid to go. It's one of my first pic a made but I'm pretty happy of it. maybe the background should me more blurry or I should focus or un focus??

I'm really confused as to what's going on in this picture. It really doesn't tell me anything other than there's a guy looking down. I can infer from your title that he's probably at the top of a hill looking down. But without your title, this photo would be very confusing and wouldn't really convey anything.

Zooming out would have helped us realize what's going on.

I can infer that this is a snowboarder or a skier, but having the entire subject (the person and whatever they are directly interacting with) and some space for the person to "move through" would be good rules of thumb
