Default Crazy quad on ice!

I took this one of my neighbor, flying past me on the frozen pond behind our houses. I recently got a new Canon EOS 450 Rebel XSi (major upgrade from my old Sony point and shoot) and have been learning new techniques.

This is one of my early tries at panning. I'd love to hear any and all comments, good and bad about this shot. Thank you!

Default Panning and blur

The panning and just the right amount of blur works for me. Good shot!

great shot. especially how the wheels are blurred and in motion and the rest of him + the quad are in sharp focus.

Thanks for the input and compliments! It was fun (and a little scary) out there on the ice.
