Lucas, the rules in this section state that you can only post one photo for critique. You can edit your post and delete the two you want to delete along with their EXIF info from your post. Thanks!!

It could be a personal thing, but I don't like that the flashed was used. It caused a shadow in the background that I find distracting. But in general, flash photography shouldn't be used in sports anways cause it's distracting to the players.

The photo could be composed better. We don't see what the player is doing at all. I'm not sure if he's about to shoot a free throw or if he's putting his shoes away in his gym bag.

I agree with smc1377. Don't forget to turn your camera to take vertical shots too. I don't know what kind of equipment you are using but in general, you need the fastest lens possible to get decent indoor gym shots coupled with a fast shutter speed and high ISO.

I'm now using my 85 1.8 lens, with my ISO set at 1600 and the shutter speed at 1/500. This allows me to use f/1.8 or f/2.0 for my aperture and still get decent action shots.

Default Shooting sports

I posted an article "shooting sports" in the tutorial section on 12/13/08. Maybe this will help you a bit.
