i'm just a beginner and looking for some help. i plan on doing a series of shots this winter like the one below. i plan to go out during my lunch break on wet or rainy days to find these kinds of flooded roads around the city. maybe if i get lucky i'll catch a shot of someone on the sidewalk getting soaked head to toe! i'm looking for a critique on this shot and some suggestions as to the following:
should i set up with a tripod? what settings are best for these kinds of shots (to capture the spraying water, speeding car)? i'll gladly accept any other suggestions. i'm hoping to go out again tomorrow at lunch and i can put any suggestions to work. thanks! ![]() Camera: Nikon D40 Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 55 mm ISO Speed: 200 Exposure Bias: 0/6 EV Shutter Speed: 6321928/1000000 Maximum Lens Aperture: 5/1 Metering Mode: Pattern Light Source: Cool white fluorescent (W 3900 - 4500K) White Balance: Manual Digital Zoom Ratio: 1/1 Focal Length In 35mm Film: 82 Contrast: Hard Saturation: High saturation Sharpness: Hard
