Default Horseriding Shot

This is a shot I took in a rain-storm last week. The setting is at the Horse training club in Las Palmas. I consider this one of the best photos I have taken, but still...there is something wrong with it! Any Ideas?

Default I don't think it is on your end as ....

I don't think what is missing is on your end as much as it is in the position of the hat on the rider. If you could have gotten her to raise the brim a bit so you could see her eyes this moves to a really nice shot. If you tried to compensate I think everything else would have been way too bright.
