No critique needed, except that you didnt follow the critique forum rules AT ALL.
Great timing, you caught a great moment perfectly. Colour is right, composition is perfect for a dude sitting in the stands, lighting is perfect too, for someone who isnt allowed to use any. Great shot. But read the forum rules so you know what to include next time. If you don't want to include any of the information required for the critique section, post your photos in the "sys" section. That section is just for showing off and back patting.

Not exactly sure what rules I broke... Except the 60px difference in the width of the pic. I read the rules over and over again...and really dont understand your first line, "...you didnt follow the critique forum rules AT ALL."
I edited the post to maybe be a little more clear, but not sure what else could have been done (or not) Thanks for the comments though. |

As long as your image is 740 pixels or less on the long side, you'll be ok.
Great capture. He looks like he doesn't even know what day it is.

And I like the post work...it works in an editorial sense with the tone induced mood and increase in structure/clairity. makes for a nice dramatic shot. In terms of a more journalistic shot, if faced with a difficult-to-correct white balance, my first choice would be a B&W conversion.

Tells the story perfectly. The fighter looks like a deer in headlights.
