Default EMU Basketball Vs. MSU

So the evil Spartans descended upon Ypsilanti. And in their place, they left a decimated EMU team. Anyways, the picture I was most happy about.

From Michigan Exposures

The Good Stuff
Model Canon EOS 50D
ISO 12800
Exposure 1/640 sec
Aperture 4.5
Focal Length 60mm

I think my only complaint with this picture is the grain. So if I got my hands on an f 2.8 lens, how much could I bump the film speed down by? Could I get down to the 2600 or so? Barring that, is there a program that I can download to get rid of the grain?

I'm noticing you are improving. Keep at it. Didn't I suggest maybe renting an f2.8? Be mindful shooting at the most open apeture of any lens there may be some softness. I am not good with how much ISO you can dial back with increased apeture. I did find after a short search on the site this suggestion for nosie reduction software. Always ok for DPS users to critique and edit my photos for instructional purposes.

I think I'm gonna try that. The Sigma I have is fine for outdoor shooting but the kit lens I have for my Camera is not quite cutting it for indoor stuff. It seems fine but it would be nice to chop off a couple ISOs.
