Frankly I'm pretty content with the tones and contrast of this photo but I'd still like some criticism because secretly I believe it could be better. But the thing I have most doubts on is the composition . Do you think it should be cropped even further or repositioned?

Interesting view. I'm normally down at the other side to capture the runners coming off the blocks. Next time go to the other end and use a shallow DOP with the curve of runners leading up to the starter. Yes, I'd crop more off the right hand side to where the 4th starting block is. Nice capture!

Thanks for your kind comments. This picture is actually cropped from a slightly larger picture to omit the other distractions but yeah I think I'll heed your advice and crop the right side of the picture. And as to your suggestion, I think I'll try that out the next time I'm at an athletics meet. Thanks again!
