This is my first time requesting C&C, and my first time photographing baseball - so please be gentle with me ;-)
I am particularly interested in C&C on the composition/exposure/colour - I already know that the quality and sharpness isn't superb (due to the fact I was right on the extreme limit of my zoom, still had to crop considerably to get the close-up I wanted, and only had 10MP to play with in the first place). ![]() The two most important aspects to me in selecting this particular shot, and the cropping of it, were the pitcher's stance (the fact that he was just starting his wind-up, and that you could just see his grip on the ball being exposed), and my placing of him in the cropped image (slightly left of centre, to give the notion that the space to the right is reserved for him to move into). I'd welcome any suggestions or techniques I could use to improve on this, or this kind of shot. Cheers, Grum
