Default High Flyin' Football

No specific questions...just looking for anything I could improve upon. Regarding the light pole, I couldn't predict where it would be ahead of time. Thanks in advance for any C&C.

Don't see anything else you could have done to improve it. Ya nailed it!

The pole is barely noticeable for me - it is the dude in the yellow shirt, but it is minor - it is just the light color that wants to pull my eye to him.

I love the image tho - If I got one like that per 100 I would be happy.

Thanks, guys. That yellow shirt is kid of bright! I may try selective saturation reduction.

To me the important thing is that you nailed the shot without using a flash. This is something I avoid when I am forced to use a flash . . . I will sacrifice the shot so that I avoid the possibility of interfering with the pass completion. Yes, I know that it happens so fast that it shouldn't blind the receiver, but try explaining that to an irate coach. The better choice is not use the flash so you remove the possibility of any controversy.

3 important parts for me. BALL, HANDS, EYES... all in the shot. Well done

Hey Steve, I agree, it's a great shot. Am wondering a couple things... did you have to do much cropping? Looks nice and tight for 200 mm, or maybe you were in a great position. Second thing is just a general question since you use Canon, as I do. What focusing mode do you find to be most efficient with football and related field sports?
