Default swimming pics

Just wanting some feedback from people. I took this pic and submitted it to a class. I purposely chose one without recognizable traits because I did not do model releases. The assignment for the class was "stopped action" more specifically in mid air. Any tips you have are most welcome.

Fun in the sun

You certainly captured a moment, but I'd like to see a little more context in the shot. Where did the subject come from. It needs a little bit more of the story. Also, cropping the guys head at the shoulders makes it look a bit strange. Usually, you want to crop people in mid limb or mid torso, not at a joint. Nice effort, though, as I said you really froze an interesting moment in time.

Thanks for the feedback about the origin and especially about the cropping of the body I will do that in the future.
