That's a cool shot. The only suggerstion I would make would be to have the cannonballer facing the camera. It took me a second or two to get what I was seeing here.

What a fun shot! I agree with the others about having the subject facing you. The other thing is that the water seems dark - it looks like there is a lot of shade on the pool. Could you try again during a time when the sun is shining more directly? It will probably net you a more vivid blue hue.

Yes, it was shot at night actually and lit with two huge above water Einstein 640s shot into PLMs (parabolic light modifiers) from Paul C Buff.

when we using small digital camera is portable and you can hold the camera setup away from the body to get attention to the object. spot the object under a good lighting so that can achieve good shutter speed for handheld.
