Default Fighter

Here's another shot from the shot I did the other night. Honestly, this shot didn't look great when I first imported it. Got some serious lens flare from the light. Almost ditched it. I worked it a bit and a lot of people have commented on it. So, here it is for your critiquing pleasure...

Well taken in terms of focus, cop etc but the thing that really makes it (as with any photo) is the subject matter, which interests me. That stare says it all.

His name is Hector Mercado. This was for KAPMMA in Newark. It was an amateur fight. He's planning on 1 or 2 more fights then going pro. He's got a fight in Ring of Combat Amateur Championships on June 5. The promoter for ROC--Lou Neglia--is more well-known for doing his pro fights (ROC at the Tropicana in Atlantic City). I've got my pro fighter on the June 11 ROC in AC. Should get some great shots then, too.
