I also posted it as this week's assignment for evident reasons.

Com on, 45 views and no answer. When i spend time to look at a shot, i leave a comment. It is my way of learning. I express what i like or what i don't like, if the picture is totally uninteresting then i say why. Just try it, you might like it.

Nice capture. Were you shooting in burst mode?

I'd crop it down a bit to focus more on the snowboarder. The background is still busy enough to distract me from the subject.

Other than that, a side angle is always better but it's a nice shot otherwise...

I'll agree on a tighter crop. Perhaps crop in the left side some and get rid of the dead space. Otherwise I like the shot.

+1 for a crop. Can you do anything to the little dust of kicked-up snow?

No burst mode, single shot. I did not think about croping but i will try it just to see what it would look like. thanks.

I think you need to show the snowboarder's face. Pretty uninteresting seeing only the back, IMO.

I agree with the suggestion that it would have been better if you were able to capture the snowboarder's expression but I think this shot is already good given the circumstances. Without shooting in burst mode, I can say you had perfect timing.

Cheers!

Nicely caught, more blue sky would have been cool. I actually like the snow that was kicked up I wish there was more I find it adds some depth, and it is not in the way of the main subject.
