Hello,
I recently took this picture at a youth basketball. I was wondering if people could be me thoughts on how to improve the shot.

Shot with Canon T1i, f/5.6, 1/500, ISO-1600, Exposure +.3, and focal length 300mm with no flash.

This is a pretty cool shoot, I'm definitely no expert but when I go in for my closer shots of peoples clothing I tend to get the one article, In your case I would have went with less of the youths ankles and more of the shoe, you also could have tried taking the shot from the side of the shoes.

Looks like it's underexposed a bit. Might play with curves/levels to give it more pop.

Default thanks!

Thank you for the feedback. I shot from the sides, but they were all severely underexposed. I'll keep trying though.
