Default got a nikon d90...need a P&S for when i go partying!

i've always had sony cybershots, they've been my bestest friends since the day i figured out what digital photography was, and i am SO confused by the many many many different models of sony cybershots out there, they all seem to have similar specs.

anybody have any recommendations? i don't want to spend over $250 canadian.

open to other brands, as well, just have grown up on cybershots.

I have loved the Casio Exilim EX-S line, I've had several of them over the years, always seemed to have better image quality than the Sony sub-compacts, plus a better price point, I also abhor the memory stick NON-standard... Check out the latest Casio, you'll be impressed! For a truly POCKET sized camera, they're hard to beat. My last P&S was a Panasonic Lumix TZ-3, a joy to shoot with, great optics best point and shoot I've ever used, I think they're in the TZ-5 series now, they're a little bulky to call a pocket camera, but I used it as such for a long time.

Panasonic Lumix TZ-3 Yeah, I have optical image stabilization and a 10X lens, it also fits in my pocket.
