Hi! I have a Sony A200 and planning to buy a Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro lens. Can anyone help me if this lens is a good fit to my Sony A200?

I have an a100 and still have doubts after touching other cameras. I think I am doing something wrong? My friends Canon EOS 30D 8.2mp takes better photos then my Sony. Why is this? lol GRRR! I also have a Canon Powershot G9 That is awesome.

I have a A100... it was a (great) gift. I think i need to upgrade soon though, but i will probably stay with sony, as all my lens fit and stuff.

I agree, it is nice to see a thread that doesnt have the usual Nikon and Cannon blah blah blah! hehe

Is Sony really that much of a minority?

My lovely husband bought me an A300 for Christmas last year, knowing that I wanted to develop my photography skills and go professional at some stage. I love it and am slowly expanding my kit

Oh... I meant to mention that my wedding photos were shot on an A700, and they were stunning. Couldn't be happier!

Default A200

I have the a200 which I've had for about a month now..It came with the 18-70mm kit lens and I've now bought a 70-200mm sigma lens. I dont like how the sigma lens works as its a push zoom type rather than a twist type like the 18-70mm.

I suspect you would be happier with the TAMRON SP AF 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD MACRO twist zoom. If you get a chance, get one and try it out

TAMRONS were made for use on SONY DSLRs.
