Sony a100 external flash... AH!!

Hi,

I'm looking for an external flash to work with my a100. I don't want to spend $450 on the HVL-F42AM from Sony, i'd much prefer using a second hand one or an old flash that would work well with the a100. Problem is, noone is selling old HVL's on trademe (our version of ebay), and the only second hand flashes I could find don't have TTL (they all fire at 100% all the time)... does anyone know of any old flashes (such as Minolta ones) that would work with the a100 (or have manual setting on the flash to change the power??)

I just picked up the HVL-F42AM on Amazon.com brand new for $200, I don't know how that translates to your currency but you should check it out.
