Hi everyone,
I have sony alpha 200W + 2 kit lenses. However, I'm not very satisfied with the image that I get. What's your suggestion if I want to change for a better lens? I'm on a budget. So, I'll only go for a third party lens like from Tamron or Sigma only and not a Carl Zeiss lens. Thank you. |

What exactly displeases you about your images? With very few exceptions, the best advice will be "Become a better photographer," as chances are it's not your gear's fault you're displeased with your photos. The only time this may not hold true is if you're shooting high action in low light with slow lenses, or similar situations where your equipment is truly the bottleneck.

Dear GEli,
actually what I actually meant was that I've been trying to sell my photos to stockphotos website but time and again they were rejected because they were not sharp enough. Even those that I've taken with my tripod with recommended settings that I learn from various books have not produce the results I desire. So, I thought a sharper lens will help me get into the stockphoto business. |

I'll have to agree with GEli. The sharpness of your photos can also be determined by your settings. What settings do you use?
