Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 VR III Lens on the Nex-7

Hello, Got a bunch of ample picks and 100% crops up for this lens as well Pretty nice lens, but not as sharp as the other Sony's I've tested so far. I just received the Sony 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 OS as well, so I will be doing extensive A to B comparisons between the two lenses.

So you are saying that the sony 18-200m is a better lens? I dont see any pics taken from that yet on your site , or am i missing a link. Also on the tam if i was using this with a NEX C3 and for some reason wanted to use the flash would a still need a flash extender as you do with the sony 18-200mm?

I was also reading another review over at Sony Nex E-mount Tamron 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 OSS Di III VC AF comparison to Sony 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 Zoom Lens Mike Kobal. This review suggest there is kind of a greenish tint or color to the tam lens. Did you find this in your tests? As he says its not a white bal issue that its in the lens?

Just based off my initial impressions and past experience with all the other Sony lenses I think the Sony will be a better choice all around. I could be wrong, but that is my opinion. I still have not used the Sony lens, because I need to photograph it in the Lab first or else I will get it covered in dust. I'm going to try and do that today hopefully

Yes, I read that review from Mike and it was very good. I have not noticed the green tint issue myself, but I've been shooting mostly raw if that makes a difference. The Sony compensates for lens flaws via software on the camera in jpeg mode. I read it works for the tamron as well on sonyalpharumors.com

Once I A and B the two lenses myself I will no for sure
