Great read Jason, I like the look of the Auto HDR and the AutoPano looks amazing!
Live white balance is what I need, now that will be a great feature!

I would add to the cons one thing. The translucent mirror not popping up does infact lower the amount of light hitting the sensor. A review on youtube showed that a regular SLR at 1/1500 Shutter speed had almost exactly the same amount of light as the SLT at 1/1000 of a sec.

Did you experience lag in the dials and viewfinder as well? Im curious to know if that was a fluke on the review unit I saw, cause it doesn't strike me as somethign sony would let through the line with lag like that.

Thanks for the comments and questions The light loss believe it or not doesn't really hurt the image quality according to DXOMark, but you are correct about how the light is less due to the mirror.

I'm not sure what you mean by lag with the dials, but I think your referring to hitting the play button and it taking a second for the screen to change? If so that does not happen!

There is a little lag between what you see in the viewfinder vs real life, but it's extremely short. It is noticeable though for sure. Makes it not so good for sports in my opinion.

Best,
Jay
