Unhappy With a MACRO lens possible??

I have a Sony Alpha 350 DSLR with a set of Macro lens (18-55mm lens)
and for now I can not buy any new lens but I am the photographer to a wedding in only one week!!
I don't have much time but I was wondering if you all could give me tips
on how I could take great pictures of people indoors at the wedding with what I have,
Please do not suggest any new equipment cause right now I have no money DX sadly...
I also have a tripod. But that's it
I'm dying and praying to know what to do and to take many good photos.
So I hope to hear from you all soon.
Thank you in advanced!!
God Bless you all.

It would be useful to know a little more about which lens you have (e.g. focal length and aperture).
