Angry Trouble With Wireless Flash

Hello all,
I am having trouble with my wireless flash. I have a Sony Alpha A300 and a Metz 50 AF-1 Digital flash. I cannot get it to flash wirelessly like I did before. I don't know if anyone has any ideas but I would be open to any.It worked before no problem, but now it doesn't. Thanks

Disclaimer: I have exactly 0 experience with Sony DSLRs.

So it still works on shoe? Are you using a trigger built into said camera, or radio triggers?

Oh, RTFM. (Many sincere apologizes if you did)

Does the flash work in test mode? Did you double check the camera's flash setting (master/slave etc)?
Is there anything in the room that could interfere with the signal? Did you eat your corn flakes this morning? Do you check to set the flash correctly? I'm running out of questions. I don't know the Sony. I don't know the Metz. Did you check the batteries? Did you have your tongue in the correct position?

Sorry to make light of an exasperating situation. But you never know until you review all contigencies, as I've been here myself. Good luck!
