Default Wireless remote on a Sony A200

I want to get a wireless remote for my Sony A200, but I don't really know if that camera supports that kind of remotes.

I've seen on the web contradictory references about this matter, so I'd appreciate a lot if someone could tell me their own experience with this camera and remotes.

Thanks!

I bought these a few weeks ago, no problems with my A200 or A700.

Thanks for your comments!

I was originally thinking on one of those IR remotes, like this one

Does it work for the A200?

When you use the IR remote, you have to be in front of the camera, I got the radio type so I could be anywhere around the camera. I can see uses for the IR, but decided the radio is more versital.

I don't see anything in the A200 manual about IR remote. I have seen some aftermarket battery grips that include a remote function. I am thinking of buying this one:
