My daughter got the A330 Sony will this camera have stop down metering. I did not have a chance to see the camera yet my son in law bought it for her. just from talking with her it seems like a good camera. Thank You

Just sitting down and working with the camera. Trying different settings to achieve roughly the same exposure and all of that.

As experienced as I am, there are nights where I will just explore a particular function of the camera, under different lighting conditions, distances and orientations, just to learn and appreciate the DSLR's limitations. This, most certainly, does not happen all in one night, nor should someone expect it to.

Experiment and adjust. Begin to realize the power of not being stuck in AUTO.
