Default Beautiful flying machines

So I'm still on the hunt for bugs ;-) There have been a gazillion butterflies this year, I'm going to have to get a book to id them all! I got this yesterday, risking malaria and god knows what else, OMG the 'skeeters were terrible, they about ate me alive!

I really like how this one turned out, with the blurred sunflower in the background.

Furry little dude ;-)

And just thought I'd throw in a diff. kind of flyer ;-) We went to a fly in at a friends place, and they had some really cool air planes come in. (need to sort through some more of those) anyway, this guy was giving rides in the Stearman, and this gal went by, thought it was a cool shot ;-)

Thanks Hayward, but that wasn't me LOL some gal got a ride, I was just taking pics. I'm very particular about who I fly with, it would have to be my husband or someone I know really well...

Thanks Dave! I'm really liking shooting the BF's, such pretty colors. We have a big air show this weekend, at the AFB, hoping to get some good shots from that. Plus I might snag a celeb. photo ;-) The Lt. Dan band is going to play for we military folk (Gary Senise) He was Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump...anyway, he has a band, and they play a lot of military installations, looking forward to that.

Thanks Leona! I'm really on the hunt for a dragon fly though. They are tough to capture though, they generally wont sit still that long (of course it doesn't help that I have 5 maniacs 'helping' me ;-) )

Stella, these are gorgeous. I like the third the best. I also like the big flying machine. You need to train those maniacs to herd all the butterflies onto one plant!
