Default The Beauty of Weeds

This is my first attempt at posting in a DPS forum. I hope I have it right.

In a recent DPS tutorial, the author suggested that we shoot light rather than an object.

I love nature and have always been fascinated by the beauty of weeds. Combining this love of weeds and the concept of the author, I shot this photo entitled Weeds with Back Light.

Weeds with backlight_2

Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi
Exposure: f8 @ 1/125 ISO 200
Lens: Kit lens 18 - 55 mm; shot at 55 mm.
Metering mode: spot
Created RAW on 10/14/09; Modified in Photoshop 10/18/09.

That should be "back light with weeds". The lighting is beautiful! I noticed the weeds second. Great job!

Hi Thomas... Welcome to DPS.
This is a very nice capture. Beautiful.
I really like the lighting... I'll have to give it a try one day.
Thanks for sharing.
