Stellar shots. I love HDR's and these are just the sort of example I was looking for to explain HDR to my wife.

I don't think they're over processed at all - they are just enough to "look" HDR but not be really in your face processed.

Thanks for sharing these!

Thanks suprspi. Whether they are over-processed or not is all very subjective of course - I'm glad you like them - my wife is not a big HDR fan and thinks they look faked (but when I did them I thought I was being relatively conservative with the processing!). Thanks once again for the feedback.

Wonderful images Martin, I have a great passion for buildings and the sky against the castle is such a great image, very striking. Can I ask if you did any post work on these, if not you really caught the clouds just perfectly

Thanks very much Marc. I'm glad you like them. Actually they are all HDR images, each using 5 bracketed exposures (-2, -1, 0, 1, 2) and combined into a tonemapped image using Photomatix, so there's a fair amount of post-processing (although the detail you see in each one is original - I didn't combine different cloud/land scenes or anything).

It was pretty cloudy on that day with patches of sunshine, so despite them being HDRs the conditions were not far off what you see in the pictures.
