Default Violet Flowers Up Close and Personal

Saw these flowers outside my home this morning. I love how in the closeups the light shines up from the base of the flower. My favorite is the third. I'll have to shoot these in early morning light and see what I can get. I used my Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro to shoot these. Shot them at f/5.6 for shallow DOF and I used custom white balance after shooting my exposure disk. I focused on the pistol for the macro shots.

Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't really noticed the star, I was so focused on the background light.
