Since 2010 is now upon us I thought it would be a good time for everyone to share some of their favorite images they took in 2009.
-Requirements 1. Only post your 4 favorite images 2. If you have some background story to the image please share 3. Image must have been taken during 2009 Ink in Water ![]() I really had a lot of fun making this image. I actually created a How To for this image which can be found here. Chicago Waves ![]() I took this during the 2009 Chicago Photowalk. I had a really great time on this photowalk and look forward to the one this year again. I remember laying down with the 100mm F2.8 macro lens just waiting for the waves to break to capture this image. I think the wait was worth it even if it was pretty cold outside near the lake. Just Somebody ![]() This was my first real photoshoot for someone. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot of things during this session. I'm looking forward to trying this out again now that I have strobes and light modifiers to work with this time around. Richie Flying ![]() This is my new cat Richie, he's a blast to play with. I had a lot of fun taking pictures that day with Angie and the Animals with my super wide white backdrop and strobes. Maybe this weekend I'll pull it out again and make some more images. I can't wait to see what everyone else has been working on this year. Let's see it! BTW: I found it very hard to select only 4 images, I'm sure you will as well.

I enjoyed my first year of owning a DSLR massively!
I have taken photos of so many different things, some worked, some didn't - but each photograph taught me something that works and something that doesn't. I think these four were the most successful of my 2009. I'm hoping I can put all I've learned into my photographs of 2010. |
