I feel that the restricted size doesn't do this photograph must justice, so, check out the full size to see this photo in it glory.

Yes - I already feel that the red is quite prominent in the image provided through the deviantArt link above. I lowered the 'harsh-ness' of the red on the 740px resized version above.

I liked the leading lines to the walkway as it gives out a nice perspective for the shot. Yes, the red structure at the right pops out and thus, becomes a bit distracting. Composition- and lighting-wise, the shot was done just right.

To my eyes it’s as if there were two independent compostions here which are competing for attention. From the middle and left (more or less) you have a fairly well balanced composition while the right half, with a bit of twiddling, could be another. This may be due to the overpowering strength of the two groups of red. Who am I to say?.
