Hello everyone, I am brand new to photography and also to photoshop. I have been playing around with my Canon 30D for the past few weeks and I would love to get some feedback on some of my photos.
Here is one picture I took a few days ago and it was my first attempt at adding in a texture. Should I have done anything differently? What's good about this and what should be changed in your opinion? Flickr Photo Download: Romantic Flowers Thank you! |

If you wouldn't have told me that you added a texture, I would have thought it was just the texture of the brown background. It's very subtle, and it doesn't really show on the flowers.
Personally, I feel that textures should add to the mood//tone/whatever of the photo. I don't really feel like the texture you chose does that. That's just me, though. I really like the colors and composition, though.
