Default Don't look down!

This is an edit of a photo a friend emailed to me of herself & her parents visiting the Blue Mountains near Sydney. They were standing nowhere near the edge in the original shot.

I had a bit of fun with it in Photoshop and sent it back to them.

Apparently her mum freaked out when she saw it as she does not like heights.

That's a fantastic job - I suffer from vertigo and sitting in my chair felt myself get a bit dizzy and weak in the legs! Very realistic. Now I am off to lie on the ground for a bit and calm down...

Wow it looks like they were actually on the edge when the pic was taken. Great job!

Thanks to all for the comments, the fact that I seem to be making everyone sick or dizzy I will take as a compliment!

Cheers,

Gerard

I'm having a sweaty palm and feet as i typed this. Very realistic. I wish it was in "How I Took It" section. Great job!

Hi Ged,
Really cool piece of editing you done there mate, really like it a lot. I know it's good as I don't like heights myself and my stomach lurched when I saw this
Thanks for sharing it with us, I really enjoyed looking at it.
David.

It does look very real! It looked so real to me that instead of feeling dizzy, the cynic in me automatically thought there was a hidden level underneath that rock which would catch them before they fell too far; they all looked so calm. I've seen several photos taken at a spot I *think* in the Grand Canyon which gives that effect. The fact that it is an illusion created after the fact is more impressive to me! I also hope you will repost this in the "How I took it" section!
