Default Beach HDR

Hello All! I have recently become fascinated by HDR and wanted to try my hand at it. I went out to shoot a sunset and shot a couple raw files and this is what I came up with! Im just looking for any tips, hints, comments or critiques to see how I can improve. Thank you!

Exif Date minus Exp Difference
F/5.3
1/100S
ISO 200
42mm

nice shot the foreground is great and so is the clouds, the orange dot on the horizon i would clone that out as it draws my eyes to it and i would rather spend more time on the foreground, but that's probably just me as I'm tired.

an f/11 (ish) and a slower shutter might get the water looking smoother if you like that effect, just an idea though.

I really like it... I've spent 2009 playing with HDR, and have enjoyed looking at all I can... you've done a wonderful job.

thanks for sharing.

I will definitely clone that red dot out! I hadnt even thought of a higher f/stop. I cant wait to get out and try again. Thanks so much Wylde!

I will definitely give it a shot. I liked the blue right side of the water but I wonder if I could take it out of the logs and keep the water that blue Thanks torque!
