The Grass is Greener

Just a little something I thought of while out on a walk with my camera. Naturally, the subject wasnt actually like this. I Duplicated the image, then masked off everything I wanted left original and then changed the curves for the duplicate image to a slight S-shape.

Any feedback, or evn alternate methods of achieving similar thing would be appreciated.

One way I bring out colors is to color select and then use a hue/saturation mask. To do this look under your Select Menu and choose color select. It will let you pick the color on the photo. Once it is selected. Open a Hue and Saturation layer and experiment.

Awesome, I'll give that a shot - sound like its quicker, without needing to duplicate the image then flatten at the end.

basically in the original the grass on the right was the same shade of green as the grass on the left. That is all that was changed.
